Azerbaijani fighters will test their strength at the IBA Men`s World Boxing Championships, which is set to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on May 1-14.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on 13 boxers.
The prize fund of the championships is $5.2 million, with gold medallists receiving $200,000, for runners-up – $100,000, and each of the 3rd places will be awarded with $50,000.
The championships will bring together about 700 boxers from more than 100 countries.
