The international festivals held in the Swedish capital of Stockholm have featured performance of Azerbaijani folk dances.
“Karabakh” dance group of SAF Swedish Azerbaijani Association consisting of the young Azerbaijanis living in Sweden performed the country’s national dances such as “Naz elama” and “Mountains of Shusha”.
The first festival, organized by “TUF” Turkish Youth Federation, was dedicated to Türkiye’s National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, while the second festival was organized by IBN RUSHD Swedish Study Association on the occasion of holy Ramadan.
The events were attended by local community members, politicians as well as participants representing different countries. The performance of the Azerbaijani dancers aroused deep interest among the audience.
