Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani have had a telephone conversation.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov asked his Georgian counterpart about the current situation in the country in connection with the earthquake hit Georgia yesterday. He said Azerbaijan is always ready to help friendly Georgia in case of need.
Minister David Zalkaliani said the earthquake did not cause serious consequences and thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the solidarity.
The FMs discussed topical issues of developing bilateral relations, as well as regional issues.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations and events to be held in the coming months.
