An official reception marking the national holiday of Morocco – Throne Day has been held in Baku.
Speaking about the strong friendly relations between two countries, Ambassador of Morocco to the country Mohammad Adil Embarch hailed the successful development of relations between the countries in all areas.
“Great Leader Heydar Aliyev played a major role in laying the foundations of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco and this policy is today being successfully continued by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev,” the diplomat emphasized.
Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev congratulated the people of Morocco on the occasion of the national holiday on behalf of the government of Azerbaijan.
The deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan and Morocco enjoy historically friendly relations, adding that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of these ties.
“Our political relations between the two countries are at a high level, and political consultations are held. We have good relations in the cultural and social spheres as well as friendship groups operate in the parliaments of both countries. Our cooperation is successfully being continued at the international level,” Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev said.
