“Currently, 3 mosques and 2 churches are under restoration in Shusha,” said Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Anar Karimov as he addressed the “Restoration of cultural and historical heritage in a post-conflict era” session on the sidelines of the Azerbaijan’s National Urban Forum.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan once again demonstrated its non-discriminatory approach towards cultural heritage: “Every object of cultural heritage is important and precious to Azerbaijan. For this heritage belongs not only to Azerbaijan, but all mankind as well.”
