Hungarian oil company MOL, continuing to be the largest investor in Azerbaijan from Central Europe, is working to strengthen further cooperation with Azerbaijan’s SOCAR, Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Tamás Torma said during an event on the occasion of the national holiday of Hungary, AJMEDIA reports.
“Azerbaijani gas is already being supplied to Hungary as a result of our cooperation. Moreover, it will also be stored in gas storage facilities in Hungary. Both countries will also be united by the Green Corridor, which will contribute to the supply of clean energy to Europe,” the ambassador said.
He noted that Hungarian companies will soon begin reconstruction of the settlement in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation.
