The first meeting of the Heads of Defense Industry Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on the sidelines of the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The meeting brought together Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Turkic States Organization, Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, Haluk Görgün, President of Secretariat of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Haluk Görgün, Yersayin Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, Azizbek Baybalayev, Deputy Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan, and Mansurjon Ibodullayev, Director of the Defence Industry Agency of Uzbekistan.
The institution, established within the framework of the OTS, will reinforce a common vision in the field of defense industry among member countries, as well as pave the way for sustainable cooperation based on the exchange of knowledge and experience.
