Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Ľudovit Odor has expressed his country`s interest in developing relations with Azerbaijan as he met with Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
The sides discussed issues on the agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in political, economic, energy security, cultural, tourism, humanitarian and other areas, including regional and international security issues.
Minister Bayramov noted that the existing dialogue, reciprocal visits and contacts between the two countries, including political consultations made an important contribution to the development of relations.
They stressed the importance of expanding legal framework between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in terms of developing ties in this area, and noted the significance of the agreement signed during the visit.
Highlighting the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in Azerbaijan`s liberated territories, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov underlined the possible contribution of Slovak companies and investors to these works.
The two also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
