Footage from the series “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power”, which is filmed by Amazon, has appeared.
The series is not based on the original books by John R. R. Tolkien, but rather on the backstory he laid out in the appendices to The Lord of the Rings.
The series will feature a young Galadriel (played by Morveth Clark) as well as a new character, a mortal named Halbrand (played by Charlie Vickers).
The series is set to premiere on September 2 on Prime Video.
