Tokyo, 12 September, /AJMEDIA/

The Institute of Information Technology is mainly aiming in the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of information and communication technologies and the involvement of young people in science. One of such implementations in this regard is supporting talented students involved in Olympiads and various educational projects. The Institute of Information Technology patronages the 11th grade student of Landau School, Mehdi Rasul, in conducting scientific research. He is greatly interested in artificial intelligence, especially Natural Language Processing and deep learning technologies.
The institute supported talented teenager Mehdi Rasul’s research in this field, taking into account his interest in the problems of natural language processing, which is one of the most relevant and actively researched areas of artificial intelligence technologies. Accordingly, the article “Comparative analysis of machine learning algorithms for sentiment analysis of texts in Azerbaijani and English” prepared by Mehdi Rasul is published in the scientific-practical journal “Problems of Information Technology” of the Institute of Information Technology. The article compares different machine learning algorithms for sentiment analysis of Azerbaijani and English texts. The analysis of the results obtained for the English and Azerbaijani texts shows the national language corpora to be of great importance for obtaining high accuracy in natural language processing, particularly in the sentiment analysis of texts.
Note that the young researcher has deeply mastered programming languages such as Python, Numpy and Javascript. He was also awarded with the relevant certificates for successful completion of programs of international IT corporations as of Cisco Networking Academy, Python Institute, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), etc.
In 2021 and 2022, M. Rasul was the winner of the competition organized by the online platform “CyberMath Academy”, and in 2022, he participated in the American Mathematics Olympiad.
