France said Monday that Japanese nationals are among the hundreds of evacuees transported out of Sudan aboard the French military aircraft, as fighting in the African nation has led to countries rushing to rescue their citizens from the violence.
The French foreign and defense ministries said they evacuated a total of 388 people. But they have not announced the number of evacuees by nationality.
