Russian peacekeepers temporarily stationed on the territory of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan have closed down 24 observation posts since September 19, Russian Ministry of Defense said, AJMEDIA reports.
The Ministry of Defense added that to ensure traffic safety on roads, 6 posts have been set up, including 2 jointly with the Azerbaijani side.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent was deployed in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Trilateral Statement of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia dated November 10, 2020.
