Oil prices have surged in the global markets.
The London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) saw the Brent crude oil rose $0.11 to trade at $78.06, while the price of the Light crude oil at the NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange) increased $0.03 to stand at $72.50.
