Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), held a press conference to announce the preliminary results of the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
Panahov reported that results from 5,895 polling stations across 125 constituencies, representing 91% of all polling stations, had already been submitted to the Central Election Commission.
The CEC Chairman also announced the names of the leading candidates based on these preliminary results.
He added that the voter turnout across the country was 37.27%.
Following the announcements, Panahov answered questions from journalists.
