Emil Mammadov, Advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, participated in a panel discussion as part of the “Transport Logistic 2025” exhibition in Munich, Germany.
Mammadov spoke about ADY’s ongoing efforts and strategic initiatives aimed at developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, widely known as the Middle Corridor. He emphasized that, thanks to sustained and active dialogue with international partners, the volume and share of container transportation along the route continue to grow annually. Notably, in the first four months of 2025, ADY increased container shipments by 56 percent compared to the same period last year.
The panel brought together representatives from the railway administrations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, the Finance Office of the Presidency of Türkiye, and Germany’s Rhenus Group.
Discussions focused on eliminating bottlenecks along the corridor, enhancing multimodal integration, and increasing transportation volumes. Participants also addressed the role of public-private partnerships and practical solutions for improving cross-border trade flows.
