“According to a report from the State Statistical Committee, there are currently up to 800 accommodation facilities operating across the country,” Executive Director of Azerbaijan Hotel Association Gunay Saglam told AZERTAC.
“In the near future, a number of luxurious hotels are expected to open in the capital city of Baku and regions, especially in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur. Baku is slated to welcome the opening of at least four luxury hotels, with plans for rebranding under four international brands. The increase in demand in the regions has also spurred the development of small and medium-sized accommodation facilities,” the CEO added.
