Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs hold talks in Kazakhstan’s Almaty

Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, and Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, held negotiations in the Kazakh city of Almaty on May 10-11.

The Ministers welcomed the progress on delimitation and the agreements reached in this regard.

The FMs and their delegations continued discussions on the provisions of the draft bilateral Agreement on Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. They agreed on continuing negotiations on the open issues on which disagreements still exist.

As part of the trip, the ministers met with Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, both in bilateral and trilateral format.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the Kazakh side for providing a platform for negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
