Azerbaijani athletes have left for Poland to attend the 3rd European Games to be held in Kraków-Małopolska from 20 June to 2 July.
The athletes were seen off in a solemn ceremony with participation of fans, athletes’ relatives, officials of various federations, employees of the Youth and Sports Ministry and public representatives.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on 86 athletes, who will compete in 13 disciplines, including archery, badminton, beach soccer, boxing, fencing, judo, karate, Muay thai, kickboxing, padel, shooting, taekwondo and triathlon.
The 3rd European Games will welcome 7,000 athletes from 48 countries competing in 29 disciplines.
