Azerbaijani players will test their strength at the European Individual Chess Championship 2023 to be held in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia on March 2-14.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on 19 chess players.
The championships will bring together more than 500 chess players from 40 countries.
The championship will be played in 11 rounds, Swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one.
The European Individual Chess Championship 2023 is a qualifying event for the FIDE World Cup 2023.
