Under President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the rapid response team of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) is continuing search and rescue operations in the earthquake-hit Turkiye, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told AJMEDIA.
A part of rescuers of MES started search and rescue operations in the Hatay region of Turkey, which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, since yesterday.
The rescuers have pulled 53 people alive from the rubble and recovered 761 dead bodies, the ministry added.
