The volume of cargo transportation through the Azerbaijani section of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) amounted to 33.290.500 million tons, while the cargo turnover was 8.332.800 billion ton-kilometers in January-August of 2022.
According to the State Statistics Committee, 17.895.600 million tons or 53.7% of the cargo was transported by road, 10.975.600 million tons or 33% by rail and 4.419.300 million tons or 13.3% by sea.
Transit cargo accounts for 27.4% or 9.129.800 million tons of total cargo transported through the corridor.
