The meeting of the General Assembly on the establishment of International Chovgan Federation in Azerbaijan has today kicked off in Baku.
The General Assembly is scheduled to elect its president and vice president.
The assembly brings together a total of 19 countries from all continents of the world. First, the format of the organization’s statutes will be approved.
In his interview with journalists, Bahruz Nabiyev, Secretary General of the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan (ARAF) described today’s event as a milestone for equestrian sports. “This is the first time that an international federation of the sport is being established in Azerbaijan. Detailed information about the establishment of the institution will be provided on February 2,” he added.
