British and Hungarian taekwondo fighters crowned world champions in Baku

British male taekwondo fighter Bradly Sinden has won a gold medal at the 26th edition of World Taekwondo Championships in Baku to claim a two-time world champion.

He secured the medal after claiming a victory over Korean Jin Ho-Jun in the men’s -68kg.

In the female`s event, Hungarian Luana Marton (U17) secured the title of the championships as she triumphed in the -57kg.

The 26th edition of World Taekwondo Championships brought together 949 taekwondo fighters from 145 countries.

The championships will run until June 4.
