Head of the Czech-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group Jan Kubik and member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Michal Ratiborsky have today visited Azerbaijan’s Alley of Honors to pay respect and lay a wreath at the grave of the National Leader, founder and architect of the modern independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
They also visited the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to Azerbaijani heroes, who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity and put flowers at their graves.
The visitors then enjoyed a panoramic view of Baku, as they were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and landscaping work carried out in the city.
