Eric Clapton has announced a new live album, The Lady In The Balcony: Lockdown sessions. The album will arrive on 12 November 2021.
The sessions feature Clapton’s bandmates Nathan East on Bass and Vocals, Steve Gadd on Drums and Chris Stainton on Keyboards. The setlist covers acoustic versions of Clapton’s biggest tracks, as well as a number of other classic blues and country songs.
The sessions were produced by Russ Titelman, and recorded in Cowdray House, West Sussex. They took place in lieu of Clapton’s shows scheduled for May 2021 at the Royal Albert Hall, which were cancelled because of the global pandemic
The sessions were filmed, and will be released on HD Blu Ray and CD Ultra-HD Blu Ray and CD, DVD and CD and as a deluxe edition. The audio-only version will also be released on 2LP, pressed on yellow vinyl.
