Azerbaijani athletes are gearing up to demonstrate their prowess at 28th Balkan Indoor Championships 2024, to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye on February 10.
Yekaterina Sariyeva and Rustam Mammadov both will try their strength in triple jump event, while Kasgin Abbaszade in long jump discipline. Lamiya Valiyeva and Alham Naghiyev will gear for medals in 400 meters and 60 meters run events, respectively.
The tournament will welcome a total of 239 athletes, including 108 female and 131 male athletes from 21 countries. The winners will have a chance to book a spot for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
