On March 10, within the framework of participation in the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, AJMEDIA reports citing Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda.
The parties exchanged views on the current situation in Ukraine, negotiations between Russia and Ukraine and ways to resolve the issue.
At the meeting, the ministers discussed the current situation in the region, including the implementation of tripartite statements, creating opportunities for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, opening communication and transport lines in the region, the process of border delimitation.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
