The “Hult Prize On Campus” round was held at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.
The competition focused on a specific social issue identified in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Representatives of a number of organizations acted as judges for the competition.
Before the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov met with the guests. At the meeting, the successes and activity of BHOS students in the field of innovation, as well as future goals in this area, were discussed.
Opening the event, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov wished the participants success. He noted that such platforms help students demonstrate their entrepreneurial abilities in the international arena.
Ten BHOS startup teams took part in the round. As in previous years, this year students presented their innovative ideas aimed at solving problems of global importance.
Last year, the “Agroficient” team of Baku Higher Oil School won the regional stage in Lisbon and earned the right to participate in the Global Acceleration Program.
