International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation to sign new works in cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with Director of the Baku Yunus Emre Institute Selchuk Karakylych.

During the meeting, the President of the Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva highlighted the activities of the organization, the events held to preserve and popularize the history and culture of the Turkic peoples, as well as future plans. Additionally, Gunay Afandiyeva noted the significant amount of scientific research conducted and books published by the organization. The President of the Foundation characterized the Yunus Emre Institute, that operates in various countries, as an important network which allows conveyance of the culture of the Turkic World to the international community. Touching upon the issue of expanding ties between the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Yunus Emre Institute, Gunay Afandiyeva pointed out the value of joint projects.

Director of the Baku Yunus Emre Institute Selchuk Karakylych hailed the work being conducted by the Foundation to study and protect the material and cultural heritage of the Turkic World. Selchuk Karakylych, speaking about the importance of cooperation between the Foundation and the Baku Yunus Emre Institute, noted his confidence for the great contributions of the partnership in the future and expressed support for the organized events.

The meeting continued with an exchange of views.
