Kyrgyz Parliament – Jogorku Kenesh approves financial documents of International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

On November 3, the Jogorku Kenesh – Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted a draft law “On ratification of the Agreement on the Financial Rules of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and “Protocol Regarding the Scale of Compulsory Contributions of the Member States to the Budget of the Foundation”.

Issues of state policy in the field of culture, sports and tourism, matters of preservation of historical and cultural heritage, its use as an important factor for the development of the economy and the significance of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation were also touched upon at the meeting of the Parliament.

The Agreement on the Financial Rules of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was signed on September 2, 2018 in Bishkek. On November 28, 2020, the “Protocol Regarding the Scale of Compulsory Contributions of the Member States to the Budget of the Foundation” was signed in Istanbul.
