Today, Azerbaijan, which has completely restored its sovereignty and territorial integrity, welcomes Novruz for the first time. This word evokes only pleasant feelings in all our people. Everyone, whether young, young or old, welcomes this holy holiday, which brings with it spring freshness, with great joy. Laughter and joy can be felt on the faces of people congratulating each other with a wink. During the arrival of Nowruz, you will not find a single person who is not only sad, but also indifferent to it. This holiday is a day that brings good feelings to our lives, loads each of us with positive emotions, and definitely makes everyone happy. No matter how many happy days with different content are among the holidays of our people, the arrival of Nowruz is a rare example of culture in terms of always experiencing and renewing the same good feelings. In the essence of Nowruz holiday, there is a philosophy that connects nature and man, constantly reminding man that he is a part of nature. It is a philosophy of sincerity, friendship, solidarity and goodwill among people. It is no coincidence that Nowruz holiday was included in the Representative List of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, which records the world’s most valuable cultural achievements and instills it in the world as an example of universal culture. Therefore, the peoples who universally accept such a philosophy are the most civilized peoples in the world, as well as the peoples who are the bearers of humanistic features such as peace and solidarity. It is a great honor to be a representative of the Azerbaijani people who carry these values.

There are many holidays in the calendar of every nation, which are declared as rest days by different countries of the world. Nowruz holiday is different from them. Thus, Novruz has always been a holiday of all representatives of our people. Even when this holiday was banned at the state level, the people of Azerbaijan lived the rites and customs related to Nowruz, sticking to the traditions. The national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, very skillfully explained the essence and value of the Novruz holiday: “The most beautiful blessing that the Novruz holiday has given us is that, since ancient times, on this holiday, people forget their grudges, grudges are reconciled, and contradictions are resolved. That is, it is a holiday of friendship, solidarity, high spirituality.

This holiday is a high moral value that has been created in the soul and heart of our people for thousands of years as a manifestation of the traditions that are native and natural to humanity, the beliefs and cultural heritage of our ancestors. This value was created by the wise people of the East and our ancestors as one of its representatives, and when they chose white better than black, turned it into a human value for all humanity. For hundreds of years, our people have pinned their best hopes on Novruz and expected happiness, prosperity and happiness from Novruz.

During the last decades, our people remember well that every Novruz holiday we wish to welcome and celebrate the next holiday in the lands freed from occupation. It was these Nowruz wishes that fulfilled the hopes of our people. It is the fourth year that Nowruz bonfires remain in the lands of the Motherland, which we have been longing for for a long time. The pains of the recent past are burned to ashes in the flames of these bonfires. With each arrival of Nowruz, it is as if humanity starts its life again from where it once stopped. The true meaning of the word Novruz is reflected in real life – a new day begins in the life of every person, nation, and civilization. See, this is the celebration of Nowruz philosophy. President Ilham Aliyev expressed this solemnity when he lit the holiday bonfire in Azad Khankendi: “Dear compatriots, it is a great pleasure to convey our congratulations to the people from here. We all live with pride after the Second Karabakh war. We are all proud that we ourselves restored justice, freed our land from the invaders, showed our strength, and from now on everyone must reckon with us, otherwise they will regret it themselves.”

On such a dear day – a day of friendship, solidarity, innovation, spiritual purity and spiritual awakening, we are happy with the happiness of all people who are faithful to the Novruz traditions. The fact that everyone feels happy makes our whole nation happy. Everyone looks to the future with great hope, everyone has good intentions to achieve their good wishes and thinks about taking steps that will be good for humanity only and only for the realization of these intentions. Only good intentions and good wishes can bring happiness to mankind. Therefore, today we convey our best wishes to all humanity. We convey our best wishes to humanity and to our nation, which includes its oldest and most cultural part.
