The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has announced its latest ratings for September 1, 2022, placing Azerbaijan`s grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov 10th with 2757 points.
Another Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov is listed 15th with 2747 points.
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen tops the ratings followed by Chinese Ding Liren and Russian Ian Nepomniachtchi.
