Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the UK Leo Docherty said that the events in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan cannot be characterized as “ethnic cleansing”, AJMEDIA reports.
“…Mr. Speaker, I do not agree. But I must say that we called on both sides to resume dialogue. Negotiations will become the basis of sustainable peace,” he said during discussions in parliament, answering a provocative question.
