March 31 genocide and the importance of its communication to the world community

Tokyo, 31 March, /AJMEDIA/

The international community should be aware of all the troubles caused by Armenians to Azerbaijanis from time to time. Spreading such information about the games played on our people by the Armenian usurpers, the massacres committed against the peaceful population, the destroyed historical and cultural monuments, in our opinion, is important in terms of exposing the false information they spread about this nation being a pitiful, oppressed and always oppressed people. The true face of this society, which displaced our compatriots from their ancestral lands and committed unprecedented atrocities against them for many years, should be revealed to the peoples of the world. The truth about the genocidal policy of the Armenian executioners against the Azerbaijanis, who welcomed them with great hospitality and placed them in their ancestral lands, should be spread widely.
The international community should know that during the last 200 years, more than one million Azerbaijanis were killed by Armenians and their patrons, and more than 2 million of our compatriots became refugees and internally displaced.
Armenians, who live with the dream of “Great Armenia”, have forcibly removed our compatriots from their ancestral and historical ethnic lands using the most vile and despicable methods. The modern state of Armenia was formed on the territory of West Azerbaijan. The bloody tragedies and lootings committed by Armenian bandits in 1905-1918, the deportation of our compatriots from their ancestral lands in 1948-53, the brutalities inflicted on our compatriots in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and its surrounding regions, and our ancestral land, starting from 1988. The occupation of Karabakh is one of the bloody pages of the insidious Armenian policy against our people.
In March 1918, Armenian Dashnaks committed massacres in Baku and other parts of Azerbaijan. Only in Baku and its surrounding villages, 30,000 Azerbaijanis were brutally murdered, including in other areas, about 50,000 of our compatriots were brutally murdered. Most of them were children, women and old people. Armenian armed forces also committed massacres in other parts of Azerbaijan. Thus, a number of villages of Shamakhi district were burned and more than 8 thousand people were killed. In Khachmaz, Nakhchivan, Zangezur, Lankaran, Karabakh, Guba and other places, villages were razed to the ground and our compatriots were brutally murdered. Mass grave in Guba, Khojaly tragedy once again confirmed the genocidal policy of Armenians and their henchmen against our people. The genocides carried out against our people received their political and legal value only at the end of the last century with the historical decree issued by the national leader Heydar Aliyev. By the Decree of the great leader Heydar Aliyev dated March 26, 1998, March 31 was declared the Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis.
It is important to convey all this to the international community in order for the truth about those events to be revealed and for it to have a wide resonance. Let’s be honest, Armenians are more active in this direction and they have gone further in spreading the so-called “genocide of 1915” to the world. In recent years, Azerbaijan has also done a lot of work in finally bringing the truth to light. The work of our compatriots living abroad is great in this work. They carry out various events every year on the eve of the genocide to inform the world community of March 31 and other atrocities committed by Armenians against our people. On March 31 – Genocide Day, our compatriots abroad have increased their activity to convey the truth about those events to the world community. In this regard, the organization of an international campaign has already become a tradition. Our compatriots living in different parts of the world are expanding their activities in this direction. Our compatriots are busy meeting with the officials of the countries they live in and representatives of the local community and conveying the real truth to them. In doing so, they contribute to making the majority of the population of different countries aware of the real truths. It should be noted that in many countries, Armenians are ahead of us in terms of propaganda. It is true that the Armenian myth has been disintegrating in recent years, and as a result, the world population has begun to understand what reality is. In this direction, the work of our compatriots living abroad and diaspora organizations is great. It goes without saying that measures related to the March 31 event will cover other countries as well. The services of such events in revealing the inner face of Armenians and bringing the truth to light are undeniable. For this purpose, on the days of the next anniversary of the genocide, there is a need to hold extensive propaganda events in other places of the world.Let’s be honest, in many European countries, especially Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, as well as in America, the organization of such events has become a tradition. For this purpose, in a number of countries, documentary series of genocide films are released to bring the information related to the genocide to the attention of the representatives of the local community. Those films are posted on social networks. For example, among those data, there are documentary films about the genocide committed by Armenians in 1918 in Goycha-Zangezur district, Nefchala-Salyan region, Nakhchivan. In other foreign countries, measures to translate and show such documentaries into the local language can have a special impact and will give good results in the mentioned direction. Diaspora activists carry out certain actions on a wider scale based on documents and facts related to the genocide in the countries they represent.
At the same time, it should be noted that this activity requires not only campaign events, but also extensive translation of genocide-related documents into foreign languages. Special attention should be paid to the publication of documents in foreign languages by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora. Also, attention should be paid to the removal of video materials. All this can have a positive effect on the widespread promotion of the genocide event abroad, and on the fact that foreigners know the real truth.
