Four more directions have been integrated into the biletim.az portal as part of the ongoing work towards electronization of services provided by Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and ensuring digital transformation in this field.
Citizens will now be able to buy tickets online for buses moving from the capital Baku to Balakan, Gadabay, Oghuz and Horadiz, as well as in the opposite directions.
At the initial stage of the system citizens could buy tickets for buses on 13 routes from Baku to Ganja, Gazakh, Barda, Mingachevir, Goychay, Sheki, Zagatala, Gakh, Guba, Gusar, Khudat, Astara and Lankaran. The number of directions integrated into the portal has now reached 17.
The online ticketing system will gradually cover all carriers and bus terminals providing passenger transportation services.
It should be noted that the portal has a number of advantages in terms of saving time, ensuring customer satisfaction, and increasing the turnover of cashless payments in the country.
In order to buy a ticket, citizens have to go to the biletim.az website and register. The biletim mobile app for mobile devices can be downloaded from the “App Store” and “Google Play”.
