Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone talk with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidential Administration stated, AJMEDIA reports citing Turkish media.
Steps to improve Turkish-Austrian relations and regional issues, including the conflict in Ukraine, were discussed during the telephone conversation. Turkish President expresses satisfaction with recent high-level contacts between Turkey and Austria.
Erdogan said that Turkey continues to do everything possible to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine.
