According to the training plan for 2024 approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, classes on the enlightenment of servicemen continue in the Azerbaijan Army.
According to the Ministry of Defense, during the classes, talks on the topics of military-patriotic education, improving moral-psychological training, strengthening military discipline, proper relationship building among servicemen and other topics are held with servicemen, their questions are answered and the necessary recommendations for military service are given.
Moreover, the servicemen are informed about the ideas expressed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev about the Azerbaijan Army, as well as about the official meetings of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, events and innovations in the region.
The classes focus on the history of the Novruz holiday, which is celebrated at the state level due to the far-sighted and wise policy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and is considered the most valuable holiday of the Azerbaijani people, as well as highlight that our people from ancient times to the present day honor the traditions of Novruz, preserving national-spiritual values.
In addition, the history of the liberated territories, as well as the examples of courage and bravery shown by Azerbaijani heroic servicemen during the liberation of these territories are emphasized during the talks with servicemen.
