Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar have discussed the current situation in Ukraine, including humanitarian issues, in a telephone conversation, Russia’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday, AJMEDIA reports citing TASS.
“Telephone talks between Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu and Defense Minister of the Turkish Republic Hulusi Akar were held at the initiative of the Turkish side on May 2, 2022. The talks focused on the current situation in Ukraine, including humanitarian issues,” the statement said.
