The Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and Russia’s Moscow Islamic Institute have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.
The document was signed by academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, acting vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, and Rector of the Moscow Islamic Institute, professor Damir Mukhetdinov.
The memorandum envisages providing mutual support for researchers, graduate students and doctoral students, mutual assistance in increasing the scientific skills of employees, exchange of knowledge and experience in the application of advanced scientific methods, organization of bilateral joint symposia, seminars and conferences, support for the implementation of joint projects and programs.
