Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture has hosted a meeting with representatives of influential media organizations from the Kingdom of Morocco, who are on a visit to the country.
The meeting was attended by Editor of MAP agency Mohamed Aswab, Anass Machloukh, Editor of L’Opinion newspaper, Souhail Nhaili, Editorial director of Le Matin newspaper, as well as a number of other media representatives from Morocco.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli provided insight into the ancient and rich culture of the country, as well as the cultural ties between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco.
He highlighted that ICESCO declared Shusha – one of the ancient cultural centers of Azerbaijan as the Cultural capital of the Islamic world for 2024.
The meeting also covered issues of joint actions, as this year, the city of Marrakech has also kicked off its tenure as the “Capital of Culture in the Islamic World for the year 2024.
