Azerbaijani and Bulgarian libraries ink agreement

The Central Scientific Library of ANAS and the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences have formalized their collaboration through a recently signed agreement. The contract was jointly signed by Professor Mammad Aliyev, Director of the ANAS Library, and Silvia Naydenova, Director of the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The agreement outlines various areas of cooperation, including the exchange of printed and electronic publications from both libraries’ collections, acquisition of relevant literature, mutual information support, organization of book exhibitions, and the preparation and development of electronic resources. Additionally, the agreement facilitates the implementation of joint projects aimed at advancing scholarly research and knowledge dissemination.

With this agreement in place, the ANAS Central Scientific Library continues to strengthen its international partnerships, already collaborating with 46 countries, 126 organizations, and 80 scientific journals worldwide. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both institutions to promoting academic exchange and enhancing access to valuable scholarly resources.
