Rector of Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov has held a meeting with Chairman of the “Society of Petroleum Geologists” Public Union (NGC PU) Elmir Garagozov and NGC PU Deputy Chairman Elvin Ahmadov.
The meeting participants discussed the prospects for cooperation between BHOS and NGC PU. A proposal to establish a branch of the Society of Petroleum Geologists at BHOS was put forward at the meeting and was well received.
At the end of the meeting BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov was presented with a “Friend of Society” certificate from NGC PU.
The main purpose of the Society of Petroleum Geologists, which has been functioning since 1993, is to support young geologists and specialists and to promote the development of Petroleum Geology.
